Bhubaneswar: Ashok Mohanty, former Odisha Advocate General has been arrested in connection with Rs. 20, 000 chit fund scam.
CBI had summed Mohanty earlier in the case after which he had stepped down from office.
Sources said that he bought a luxurious house in Cuttack at minimum prices from a prime accused in the scam.
Several BJD leaders including chief minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik and other leaders under scanner in the chit fund scam.
