Pakistan continues to violate ceasefire at the International BorderJammu: Situation of war had been grown as Pakistan had continues to violate ceasefire at the International Border. Pakistan had continued firing in 7 sectors of Jammu and Kashmir – Hira Nagar, Sambha, Arnia, RS Pura, Kanachak, Pargwal and Ramgarh.

As many as 50 border security force (BSF) posts were targeted in the shelling that continued till 7 am on Wednesday morning.

Over 40 Border Out Posts and 25 border hamlets with heavy mortar shells in Jammu sector and LoC areas in Poonch district had been targeted by Pakistan troops on Tuesday.

Twelve people including a Junior Commissioned Officer were injured in the firing.

Sources said, “The Border Security Force (BSF) has been asked to put on hold the proposal for flag meeting with Pakistan. India has now decided to wait for Pakistan to make the first move.”

Meanwhile Pakistan had blamed India for the violations.

Sartaj Aziz, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, said, “It is sad that the Indian government has not been able to restrain its forces despite strong diplomatic protest by Pakistan.”

Home Minister Rajnath Singh said, “We want to secure our borders. Pakistan had started action on the border. We have told Pakistan to stop ceasefire violation or else India will give a fitting reply. Pakistan should understand this.”

Notify that over a 1000 people have been shifted to camps overnight.

Deputy Commissioner Kathua Dr Shahid Iqbal said, “There are a total of 57 border villages but around 30 have been affected in the firing and people from those villages have moved to the camps. Arrangements have been made for blankets and other essentials at the camp and all possible arrangements will be made soon.”
