Study reveals sex with multiple partners cuts prostate cancer risk by 28%New York: A Canadian study had revealed that having sex with more than 20 women had reduced the risk of prostate cancer by 28%.

Study proved that men who had sex with more than 20 women had a 28% reduced risk of being diagnosed with the disease, whereas those who had less partners didn’t fare as well.

According to the study men who were virgins were almost twice as likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer as those who were sexually experienced.

The study noted that large numbers of ejaculations may reduce the concentration of cancer-causing substances in prostatic fluid, a constituent of semen. It may also lead to fewer crystal-like structures in the prostate that have been associated with prostate cancer.

Citing the study a report said that it would mean frequent masturbation would also reduce your likelihood of catching the deadly disease.

Meanwhile the opposite is true in the case of gay man.

Hence, such people should not strive for multiple partners since doing so would double the risk of prostate cancer.

3,208 men had been evolved in the Prostate Cancer and Environment Study. They answered questions about their lifestyle and sex lives.

Lead researcher Marie-Elise Parent, from the University of Montreal, said, “It is possible that having many female sexual partners results in a higher frequency of ejaculations, whose protective effect against prostate cancer has been previously observed in cohort studies.”
