Triple murder at doctor’s resident in OdishaBhubaneswar: A doctor including three persons had been killed by unidentified man at Khandagiri Vihar of Odisha on Tuesday.

Police said that alleged accused entered the house of Dr. Atulya Chandra Meher, an Orthopaedic surgeon, and proceeded to the servants quarter behind the residence, where caretaker Prashant Behera, used to reside with his family.

Police Commissioner Rajendra Sharma said, “The man attacked Behera, his wife and son there.”

When Dr Meher, who used to reside in the first floor, reached the place after hearing screams, he too was attacked.

Sharma also said that Meher, Prashant and his son died on the spot, and Prashant’s wife was seriously injured. The miscreant was also injured in the clash.

Preliminary investigation said that a well-dressed man had entered the compound with a bouquet of flowers, but all of a sudden he attacked the caretaker, his son Minu and wife Runu Behera.
