US President Obama’s credit card declined by New York restaurantNew York: The credit card of US President Barack Obama had been declined at a New York restaurant.

Report claimed that US President told the crowd at the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, that he had stepped out for a bite at a restaurant during a UN General Assembly meeting and his own credit card had been declined.

Michelle Obama, the First lady had paid the bill and the President added that the restaurant staff believed that there had been some fraud.

53-year-old US President Obama has introduced a new data protection plan in which all government-issued credit cards shall have an internal chip that would replace the old magnetic strips to reduce the potential for fraud and protect from identity theft as 100 million people had faced breaches last year.
