Police found #weapons, petrol pichkaris, #throne-cum-lift in #Rampal’s #ashram#Hisar: After the arrest of self-styled godman Rampal, police had started search operation in ashram of Rampal in Hisar. Media reports claimed that police had found .32 bore revolvers, .315 bore rifles, 12 bore guns and rounds of ammunition for 7.62mm rifles which are prohibited for private individuals even if they possess a firearm license. Police found 854 bathrooms and 1254 toilets in the ashram. They also found CCTV in ladies toilet and they footage of the toilet had been displayed in the restroom of Rampal.

Police also found tablets which boost up male sex power in the ashram. It had been believed that women had been sexually and physically abused by him also in ashram. Notify that some women hostage had claimed that personal security guards of Rampal had raped them.

Police have also found bags of arms and ammunition under an elevated marble throne-like seat on which Rampal would sit and address the crowd.

Water guns (pichkaris) had been too found in ashram which had been used during Holi celebrations that were filled with petrol plus buckets of a pungent acid-like liquid t filled in packets and glass bottles similar– the police claim — were thrown at them.

Police said media, “Outside alone, we inventoried 58 sacks of rice, wheat and pulses. There are two storerooms we have not entered yet, and over 30 vats for food, some with fresh khichdi and kheer.”

Notify that some locals had already claimed that Rampal was bathed in milk daily and the milk was then used to make kheer that would be distributed to devotees at the ashram.

Media report said that there is an in-built polytechnic clinic with x-ray machinery as well as facilities to conduct operations. Whether they were qualified doctors and surgeons to conduct such operations was not yet known.

Notify that maximum devotees of Rampal are from lower-middle class and poor class of society.

The resident of Rampal is a 4-storey complex with 24 air-conditioned rooms that had state-of-the-art elevators leading to them. There is swimming pool in his residence as well as a safe to which the police were trying to break into.

Some media report said that ‘one of the rooms had a massage bed, treadmills in another with Rampal staring down from huge wall posters’.

“In the ashram, his pravachan area has a throne that also served as a lift for Rampal, who spoke from the second floor of a white marble structure fortified by glass,” said reports.

Police is still investigating the resident of Rampal to disclose more about him. Some locals had claimed that they have found objectionable materials several times in fields and nearby ashram.
