New Delhi: The milestone and record maker in Cricket Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar had suggested Indian Cricket team Captain for ODI Mahendra Singh Dhoni to focus on upcoming World Cup 2015. One of the most successful Test captain MS Dhoni had decided to call time on his Test career with immediate effect in the wake of India’s series defeat against Australia.
Indian team had become the world’s number 1 team under the supervision and captaincy of Dhoni.
Dhoni now wants to concentrate on the shorter format of the game and said that the strain of playing all the three formats was getting to him.
Dhoni has played 90 Test matches out of which he had lead the team in 60 matches. India has registered victory in 27 matches in his captaincy.

Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar tweeted, “Just feeling a bit sad about Dhoni’s retirement from Test Cricket. Didn’t see it coming at all. “
Another former cricketer of India, Bishan Singh Bedi tweeted, “MSDhoni’s retirement in midst of test series leaves lot of us perplexed! But that’s his prerogative. I’d like 2 wish MSD Happy Retirement!!
