#WorldCup2015: #RohitSharma Hits his 7th ODI Hundred to Power #India vs #Bangladesh #CWC15 #Melbourne:  #INDvsBAN  Opener Rohit Sharma reached a century off 108 balls to revive India’s innings in the World Cup quarter-final against Bangladesh at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday.
The huge contingent of Indian supporters in the crowd cheered Rohit as he reached his seventh ODI ton with 10 fours and a six. He finally scored 137 off 126 balls to help India post a commendable 302/6.
However, Rohit had a lucky escape on 90 when he holed out and was caught at deep mid-wicket off Rubel Hossain but umpire Ian Gould signalled a no-ball for a waist-high ball despite TV replays indicating it to be a legitimate delivery.
After his innings, an elated Rohit Sharma said, “It was a big game for us. We wanted to make it count. Glad we were able to eventually post a big total.”
