#PrashantBhushan responds to #AAP notice, asks #disciplinary committeeNew Delhi: In a scathing reply to the Aam Aadmi Party’s showcause notice, party leader Prashant Bhushan  today responded to a show cause notice by raising several questions about the way he and Yogendra Yadav were shunted out and the disciplinary committee that has been set up to decide on them.

Referring to the formation of national disciplinary committee, Bhushan wrote, “I am not aware who constituted this committee and when and how this was done. Terming the National Council meeting on March 28 as “illegal and unconstitutional”, he reportedly said that the decisions taken since then are also not legal.

Addressing the letter to Pankaj Gupta, he further wrote that charges being levelled against him in the notice and party leader Yogendra Yadav are similar to the ones mentioned in the press release issued by him along with AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh on March 10.

Bhushan further said that Khetan had earlier levelled various charges which he later apologised. The party had served notice to senior party leaders Yadav, Bhushan, Anand Kumar and Ajit Jha on April 17 accusing them of indulging in alleged anti-party activities. The four leaders were earlier removed from the top panels of the party during its National Council.
