Mumbai: The registrations for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) are about to open in a week’s time, on September 1. The GATE 2016 is expected to be held between January 30 and February 7. GATE is an all-India examination and will be conducted in 2016 by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and Indian Institute of Science.
It mainly evaluates the comprehensive understanding of candidates in undergraduate subjects like Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science.
Candidates applying for GATE 2016 will need to complete the application process online. They would not be required to send printouts of either the application form or supporting documents.
