Weather likely to play spoilsport on all three days of Art of Living festivalThe World Culture Festival being organised the Art of Living Foundation may have got the National Green Tribunal’s go ahead but the weather may play spoilsport.

According to the weatherman, rain and thunderstorms are expected on Friday, Saturday and Sunday — the three days the festival will be held.

The India Meteorological Department has forecast a partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunderstorm on Friday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be between 29 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees Celsius.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to see heavier rain and the maximum and minimum temperatures will be between 26 and 15 degrees Celsius.

An active western disturbance will affect the weather of North West India from March 11 onwards and rainfall is likely to occur at most places over western Himalayan region from March 11 to March 14, the IMD said in a release.

According to IMD, ‘fairly widespread’ to ‘widespread’ rain and thunderstorm are likely to occur over Delhi and NCR from the night of March 11 to Macrh 13. Weather officials also said that there is a possibility of thunder squall with hail on March 11 night and March 12 in some areas.

The Art of Living festival starts at 5pm each day and will go on till 10pm.
