US Police said, “No shots fired, no gunman found at Los Angeles airport”Los Angeles: The Los Angeles airport police said on Twitter late Sunday they were investigating unconfirmed reports of shots being fired at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said the reports of the shooter had come from two callers, but there was no confirmation of what was exactly happening, CBS News reported.

The police said in a second tweet they were searching the airport and that all precautions were being taken to ensure the public`s safety. “Remain calm,” the post on Twitter said.

Los Angeles police could not be reached immediately for comment.
