Trouble in Bihar's 'Mahagathbandhan': Nitish Kumar to seek fresh mandate if Tejashwi Yadav fails to come clean?Bihar: In yet another indication of widening cracks in Bihar’s ‘Mahagathbandhan’ or ‘grand alliance’, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is ready to seek a fresh mandate if his deputy Tejashwi Yadav fails to come clean on corruption allegations levelled against him.

A News18.com report said on Monday that a decision on Bihar deputy CM is likely to take place after the Presidential poll.

Sources also claimed that Nitish Kumar, who is under tremendous pressure to sack Tejashwi Yadav,  is ready to seek fresh mandate and sacrifice his government if RJD remains tight-lipped on the fate of Bihar deputy CM.

With CM Nitish Kumar toughening his stance on Tejashwi Yadav episode, RJD chief Lalu Yadav appears to have finally budged and signalled that some action will be taken to save the ‘Mahagathbandhan’.

Fearing that any action against Tejashwi would affect the Presidential poll, both RJD and Congress want to hold the matter till the polling is over.

After the elections are over, it is highly likely that Tejashwi might have to resign or Nitish might sack him.

As per sources, it is also highly likely that RJD will continue to support Nitish from outside.

Blaming the Centre for the whole controversy surrounding Tejashwi, RJD said, “ED, CBI and IT work for and as per the orders of the government”

RJD also termed the whole matter as a political vendetta.

Even Tejashwi Yadav, while commenting on the allegations against him lashed out at Government and said, “There is an emergency like situation in the country”. When asked about his resignation, the leader parried the question.
