Mumbai: Anushka Sharma took to Twitter Sunday to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi a very happy birthday and also thank him for inviting her to participate in the #SwachhataHiSeva movement.
She tweeted: “Happy Birthday to our honourable PM @narendramodi ji.Thank you Sir for the invitation to join the #SwachhataHiSeva movement (1/2). I am honoured to be a part of #SwachhBharat campaign and will do my best for the noble initiative of #SwachhataHiSeva (2/2) (sic).”
The Prime Minister had raised the issue of hygienic sanitation facilities while addressing the nation on August 15, 2014. He had then nominated a number of popular film celebrities and other popular personalities to take part in the Swachh Bharat campaign.
The #SwachhataHiSeva movement is an initiative to encourage widespread support for cleanliness campaigns across the country.
