Lucknow: A minor girl in Manipur was on Friday set afire after being allegedly gang-raped by three men.
The girl was set ablaze because she complained to the police against the culprits.
According to the victim’s family members, the three accused were troubling her for the last 3-4 months.
Meanwhile, an FIR has been lodged and the investigation is underway, police said.
Last week, a 15-year-old cancer survivor was allegedly gang-raped by two youths in Sarojini Nagar area. She was again raped by one person whom she asked for help.
Confirming the incident police said the incident took place on December 8 when the girl had gone out to meet an acquaintance.
