Shining India Survey Exit Poll Predicts NDA Likely to Form Government in Bihar

Bihar: The exit poll released jointly by Shining India Survey and Shining India News on the evening of November 11 has stirred fresh political debate in Bihar.

According to the findings, the NDA alliance appears to be in a strong position to form the next government in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.

In the 243-member Bihar Assembly, the NDA is projected to win 139 ± 15 seats.

The INDIA bloc is estimated to secure 98 ± 11 seats.

The survey predicts 2 ± 1 seats for AIMIM and 2 ± 1 seats for JSP.

Other parties are expected to win around 2 ± 1 seats.

The survey also highlights that 37 seats are witnessing an intense and close contest.

In terms of vote share, the NDA is projected to lead with 44.8% of the votes.

The INDIA bloc is expected to receive around 40.3%, while other parties may secure 11.9%.

About 3% of the voters have been categorized as “silent voters,” who may play a crucial role in the final outcome.

This exit poll is based on a large sample size of 55,962 respondents, making the survey notably comprehensive.

According to Shining India Survey, both rural and urban regions showed significant support for the NDA.

Political experts believe that such a large sample adds weight to the overall trend suggested by the survey.

The release of this exit poll has heightened political excitement across Bihar.

NDA leaders have termed the figures a reflection of public trust and confidence.

Meanwhile, the opposition claims that ground-level equations and booth-level factors could still alter the final picture.

The presence of silent voters is being considered a decisive factor on many seats.

Shining India News emphasized that the exit poll is only an indication, and the real verdict will come on counting day.

As the state awaits the final results, all eyes are now on the outcome that will shape Bihar’s political future.

Hrithik Saini, Editor-in-Chief of Shining India Survey, along with his field team, has been actively collecting ground-level voter opinions across Bihar throughout the election 2025. According to Saini, the key issues dominating this year’s Bihar Assembly elections include health, education, migration, unemployment, corruption, roads, electricity, and water — concerns that continue to shape public sentiment across both rural and urban regions.

During the extensive survey exercise, Saini noted a clear trend among specific voter groups. Women voters and the EBC (Extremely Backward Classes) community showed strong support for the NDA, indicating a significant consolidation of these sections in favour of the alliance. This shift, he added, could play a decisive role in the final outcome of the election.

The survey team reported that voters were vocal and engaged, reflecting a heightened sense of political awareness and expectations from the incoming government.
