SBI Basic savings account cash withdrawals limits changing from October 1

New Delhi: India’s largest public sector lender State Bank of India (SBI) has announced revision in cash withdrawal charges for Basic Savings Deposit Account. The new rules will be applicable for customers from 1 October 2026.

SBI in an official notification has said that, for the first four cash withdrawal, customers will get free services. However, once the limit has been crossed, SBI will levy charges of 15 plus GST for each transaction.

It may be noted that SBI had announced revision in ATM/ ADWM transaction service charges with effect from 1 December 2025.
