Crowd of five lakh to attend Narendra Modi’s rally in Jharkhand: BJP

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is all set to address ‘Vijay Sankalp’ rally at Dhurva Ground in Ranchi in Jharkhand on Sunday.

The remarkable point about this rally is that Modi will address the crowd from the stage with a model of the Parliament in the background.

“When Modi will make a speech, it will appear like he is addressing people from the Parliament,” Jharkhand BJP president Rabindra Rai told reporters.

The back side of the stage from where Modi will address the crowd, has been made in the form of a Parliament house to give an impression of the Parliament.

It’s not the first time that Modi’s stage has seen such an innovation. Earlier in Chhattisgarh rally, his stage was shaped like the ramparts of the Red Fort.

The BJP claims that over five lakh people will attend the rally for which the security arrangements have been beefed up at the venue.

Modi will arrive in a helicopter from the Birsa Munda airport and land near the venue which will be guarded by over 2500 policemen.

Barricades have been set up and 40 doors have metal detector installed besides CCTV cameras that are installed in the area to monitor the activities.

Especially in light of the bomb blasts in Modi’s Patna rally on October 27, special care has been taken to ensure security.

In a soft gesture, the BJP has also invited the kins of the Patna blast accused to attend the rally
