Mumbai: police complaint has reportedly been registered against Bollywood actor and BB7 host Salman Khan and the management of Colours television for allegedly insulting Muslim sentiment on the popular show. The reality show has been mired in controversy for several weeks.
Contestant Armaan Kohli was arrested for allegedly assaulting British singer-actress Sofia Hayat inside the Bigg Boss house. He was allowed to return to the house after completing legal formalities, in a highly-criticized move by the show producers.
The show, hosted by Salman Khan for the past three seasons, throws together celebrities in a secluded house with over 80 well-placed cameras monitoring their every move. Season 7 of the show went on air on Colors on September 15.
