Sanjay Dutt granted parole for 1 month on behalf of wife’s illness whose photos create sensation

MaanayataMumbai:  Actor Sanjay Dutt has leaves jail for a month as he filed an application regards the illness of his wife. Sanjay Dutt had already leaved jail for 14 day medical furlough in the beginning of October. The grant of Dutt was later extended further by another 14 days on health grounds. He was effectively at his Mumbai home all of October and returned to the prison on October 30.

Sanjay Dutt had told media, “I still have a problem in my legs, but it is better now. Pray for me, so that I can come out soon.”

It seems that this wish had been granted for him as Dutt will bring in the New Year with his family. Dutt is getting the privilege which not many convicts easily get.

Yogesh Desai, the jail superintendent of Yerawada said that Dutt had submitted the application for the present parole along with his request for a medical furlough in October.

Sanjay Dutt is likely to return to his Mumbai residence on Saturday.

As it is known that Sanjay Dutt was sent to jail in case as he was convicted of possessing illegal firearm in 1993 Mumbai blast case, in May to serve the remaining 42 months of his five-year sentence, sources claimed.

Sanjay Dutt meanwhile had claimed that his wife Maanayata Dutt was unwell and secured a parole but his wife had seen at two different events on Thursday.

On the release of R….. Rajkumar starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in leading, Shahid Kapoor has organized a special screening for his friends at a studio in Juhu. Maanayata was seen there at the event which was also attended by Pankaj Kapur, actor Ayushmann Khurrana, director Ashutosh Gowariker, and Sunil Lulla, MD, Eros India, the company that produced the film.

Maanayata Dutt was also present to the home of Krishika Lulla to celebrate the birthday of Lulla’s wife. She was accompanied by Shahid and Ayushmann.

Prabhakar Deshmukh, Divisional Commissioner had confirmed on Friday, “The parole application was recommended by an ACP in Mumbai Police and the jail superintendent of Yerawada prison. Considering these recommendations, I have approved Dutt’s parole for 30 days. The reason for seeking leave was his wife’s illness. “

Yerawada jail superintendent Desai said, “I haven’t yet seen the order. But in our report, we had mentioned that Dutt’s behaviour was good. But the parole was approved only after the local police submitted their report.”
