Delhi CM Kejriwal orders FIR against Moily, Mukesh Ambani over gas pricingNew Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal today attacked Reliance Industries Ltd by citing a complaint lodged by four people to his government against the Mukesh Ambani-led company over gas pricing.

Delhi CM alleged that RIL’s rates for gas price are not based on cost of production and that the company has created an artificial shortage of fuel in the country. The Reliance is charging double for the gas from the KG Basin and making windfall gains through dubious means, The Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said.

He demanded that hike in price of natural gas from April 1 must be kept in abeyance said that if the price of gas increases to $8, there will be a hike in prices of essential commodities as well hurting the common man.

Kejriwal said he has asked the his government’s anti-corruption bureau to lodge an FIR against former oil minister Murli Deora, Ambani, oil minister Veerappa Moily and former director general hydrocarbons VK Sibal.

He also said that he will write to the Prime Minister as well as the oil minister regarding the issue. The AAP leader also accused the Congress and opposition parties maintaining a silence on the issue and taking bribe ahead of the Delhi elections.
