AAP convener Kejriwal expel two party members

AAP convener Kejriwal expel two party members New Delhi: Two members of Aam Aadmi Party had been expelled for allegedly offering tickets to contest Lok Sabha elections which are scheduled for April 2014 in exchange for bribes.

AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal had today expelled Aruna Singh and one more person from AAP.

Kejriwal said, “We are removing Aruna Singh and one more person from the party. They asked for money from some people and promised them tickets. The transaction didn’t take place, but talks happened.”

The leaders were punished on a complaint by an aspirant, Rajesh, who wanted to contest the Lok Sabha polls on an AAP ticket from Misrikh in Uttar Pradesh.

He reportedly recorded his conversation with Aruna Singh and brought it to the notice of Kejriwal’s party.

AAP convener said, “If any credible allegations surface against any candidate, we will cancel their tickets immediately.”
