New Delhi: Facebook, the world’s most popular social media website, crashed for a brief while on today. We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can, say a message on the website when users tried to log in.
Sorry, something went wrong, said the message.
The outage lasted for at least 15 minutes, enough time for some of its 1.28 billion monthly active users to tweet and poke fun at the website.
The outage was reported in several countries, including China, Singapore and India. The cause of the outage was not immediately known.
