UP Police arrest 3 members in BJP leader Vijay Pandit's murder caseNoida: The Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested 3 persons in connection with the murder of 35-year-old Dadri-based Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vijay Pandit. The three arrested are said to be the members of Anil Dujana gang.

Pandit’s wife has demanded a CBI probe into the murder of her husband and said that Dujana had called her husband in March threatening to kill him.  Pandit was shot dead by unidentified bike riders on Saturday.
Violence broke out Saturday in Greater Noida near the national capital after the BJP leader was shot dead. After news of his death spread, around hundred of his supporters and BJP workers ransacked the area and torched many vehicles.

They pelted stones at the police, who resorted to cane charge and fired blanks.  Pandit was the husband of a local civic body chairperson.  Police said tension prevails in the area and additional forces have been deployed.

Police officials are expected to brief the media about the details at 12 noon today.
