PM Modi said workers to work for ‘Congress mukt’ MaharashtraMumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had addressed the party workers and hails them to work united for ‘Congress mukt’ Maharashtra on Tuesday.

PM Modi said, “For the first time, non-Congress government got a majority. After the BJP-led government took over, people have a feeling that the country is going forward.”

Modi said, “In Maharashtra vidhan sabha elections, the party should go ahead with confidence of victory. The confidence of the BJP cadres in BJP is intact. All workers should be united for Congress-mukt (Congress-free) Maharashtra.”

Notify that the assembly elections are being scheduled in October in Maharashtra.

Over the interaction of PM Narendra Modi, state BJP president Devendra Fadnavis said, “He came, he spoke, he conquered.”

BJP Spokesperson said, “Modi discussed the party’s poll preparedness. He also sought our opinion about functioning of the BJP-led government at the Centre. He was keen that those occupying the last rows should come forward and participate in the interaction.”
