Mumbai: Shiv Sena, the main ally party of Bharatiya Janata Party in Maharashtra had appreciated the statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Muslims of India. Sena said that the ‘Hindutvawad’ of PM Modi has not reduced because he called them patriotic.
Sena in an editorial in his mouthpiece Saamna said, “As a Prime Minister, Modi represents people from all communities and there is no reason why he should be against a particular community. But, he has been always painted as ‘anti-Muslim’ by pseudo-secularists of the country.”
It said, “Modi has lauded Indian Muslims for their patriotism. He has initiated a new chapter by giving a guarantee of the community’s love for its motherland. Now, Muslims must not let him down.”
The editorial added that just because some indulge in terror acts does not mean that every Muslim in a terrorist.
Notify that PM Narendra Modi had said in an interview that Indian Mislims will live for India and die for India.
Notify that Modi said, “My understanding is that they are doing injustice towards the Muslims of our country. If anyone thinks Indian Muslims will dance to their tune, they are delusional. Indian Muslims will live for India, they will die for India – they will not want anything bad for India.”
