Go Vote Now Haryana and Maharashtra

Go Vote Now Haryana and MaharashtraNew Delhi: Voting is going on for Assembly elections in Haryana and Maharashtra today. The main fight in Haryana state for getting majority is in among Bharatiya Janata Party, INLD, Congress and BSP.

A good showing by the BJP, a party which still lacks a dependable cadre in the state, will further enhance the stature of Prime Minister Narendra Modi since the party heavily banks on his charisma to woo the voters.

For the Congress, which is facing a strong anti-incumbency undercurrent and looks out of the race, a decent outing will be face saver.

The party which suffered heavy reverses nationally in the general elections can also hope to consolidate itself, drawing inspiration from the Haryana outcome.

The BSP which is regarded as a one-seat wonder on the Haryana scene is looking to increasing its vote percentage in Haryana.

Mayawati’s party is in danger of losing its status of a national party and must remain a recognised political party in at least four states to retain that status.

The main fight in Maharashtra is in among Shiv Sena, BJP, NCP, Congress and MNS.

The BJP-Shiv Sena combine had done exceptionally well in Maharashtra, winning 42 of the 48 seats in the state. Anti-incumbency, corruption and developmental issues, both at the Centre as well as at the state level were prime reasons for the good showing as was the so-called ‘Narendra Modi wave’. Not much has changed in the last couple of months and the party is leaving no stones unturned to sell the popularity of PM Modi with the slogan ‘chalo chalein Modi ke saath’. Needless to say he is their star campaigner in the state.

But as the alliance of BJP woth Shiv Sena had breaked, they both had turned as foe to each other. BJP is banking over its star campaigner and PM Narendra Modi as party didn’t have any big face in Maharashtra. Meanwhile Shiv Sena has the name of Late Bala Saheb Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray.

According to an opinion poll done for two TV channels, BJP will emerge as the single largest party in Maharashtra, winning about one-third of the seats but it will not get a majority on its own. If this happens one can see another round of political churning in the state. Rumours of NCP aligning with the BJP has been doing the rounds for a while now. The other case scenario could be ‘back to business’ between Shiv Sena and BJP. Gadkari did say recently that the Shiv Sena-BJP were ‘natural allies’ and ‘may need to come together’ in future.

Not only BJP with Shiv Sena, but Congress had also face break up in State with NCP.

Result of the elections of these two states will bew declared on 19th of October 2014.

Shining India is requesting all the voters of Haryana and Maharashtra to cast their vote for better government in their state.
