#PM #Modi met with #Sharif in #SAARC retreat but no words exchange between them#Kathmandu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had shook hand with his counterpart Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during the retreat at the SAARC Summit on Thursday but no exchange of words had took place in between them.

The meeting between the two leaders is just being seen as a courtesy call to share pleasantries.

In #Dhulikhel, Nepal Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pandey daid, “Yes, they have met and shook hands at the retreat.”

The retreat is being held on the second day of the two-day SAARC Summit in Dhulikhel.

Earlier on Wednesday, Pandey said, “there are some roadblocks and we are working to clear them.”

He also said his country will make all efforts to ensure that the connectivity pacts, including the motor vehicle agreement, are signed before the SAARC declaration.

Notify that on Wednesday Pakistan had blocked three key pacts pushed by India.
