Mumbai: Mahesh Bhatt’s eldest daughter Pooja Bhatt has decided to part ways with her husband Manish Makhija. The duo tied the knot in August 2003 in Goa.
The actor-turned director took to twitter to announce the separation. In the tweets that followed, Pooja mentioned the reason behind the split and also specified that they are parting ways amicably.
Manish, who is a former VJ, met Pooja during the shooting of ‘Paap’. It was then that the duo fell in love and decided to tie the knot. Manish also had a small role in the movie.
To all those who care and especially those that don’t my husband Munna and me have decided to part ways after 11 glorious years of marriage. Our split as some might call it is amicable and we hold each other in the highest esteem for now and forever,” Pooja tweeted.
