#ISIS #kidnapped 4 #Indian #teachers in #Libya: ReportsNew Delhi: Four Indians have been kidnapped in Libya, allegedly by the Islamic State, reports claimed on Friday. The four are believed to be teachers who were teaching at a university.

They were abducted in the city of Sirte near capital Tripoli. TV reports said ISIS is most likely behind the abduction. The Ministry of External Affairs is gathering more information about the incident.

MEA officials, however, said no ransom demand has been received as yet. The Indian nationals were kidnapped from an area which is under the control of the ISIS. The government had last year issued advisory asking Indian citizens to leave conflict-hit Libya.
