#Guwahati: #Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi on Wednesday said that a fool-proof security system will be put in place for the 12th South Asian Games starting from February 5.
#Assam #CM #TarunGogoi statement came following the review meeting he had with army, police, paramilitary forces, intelligence agencies and sports administrators to discuss preparations including security.
The CM #TarunGogoi has instructed all the departments to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Assam along with its handicrafts, tourism potentials and refreshing beauty.
Directives were also issued to take care of all logistical issues, transportation, communication and accommodation facilities for the 4400 athletes who will be converging in Guwahati for the games.
