Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh and Ashish Khaitan granted bail in Manjithia defamation case#Amritsar : Today Huge political drama in Amritsar Civil Court, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, along with two other Aam Aadmi Party leaders Sanjay Singh and Ashish Khaitan, today got bail in a defamation case filed by Punjab’s Revenue Minister, Bikram Singh Manjitha. The next hearing is scheduled for 15 October 2016 .
In the Judicial Complex of Amritsar, the administration witnessed a bitter war of words between Aam Aadmi Party  and Akali dal supporters. Despite heavy security deployment, police forces had a tough time trying to keep both sides away from each other.

Before leaving the court, Delhi CM Arvind  Kejriwal addressed his supporters and launched a scathing attack on Punjab’s ruling Badal  family. Reiterating his allegation, CM Arvind  Kejriwal called punjab minister  Bikram  Manjithia the drug kingpin of the state struggling with substance abuse. In the run up to the Punjab election, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind  Kejriwal threatened to send Punjab  Revenue Minister, Bikram Singh  Manjithia to jail if Aam Aadmi Party will  came to power in Punjab Assembly election  next year.
