Case filed against Popular composer-singer  Vishal Dadlani and Tehseen Poonawalla over his tweet on Jain religious leaderMumbai: On Saturday (August 27, 2016), Popular composer-singer Vishal Dadlani made a comment against Digambar Jain guru Tarun Sagar and mocked him for making a speech in Haryana Assembly, naked. Jain guru Tarun Sagar is a saint of Digambar sect of Jainism, who don’t wear clothes as a part of their religious practice. However, that made Jain members angry and they have filed a police complaint against Dadlani and Tehseen Poonawaala, who also tweeted on the same context of hurting their religious sentiment.

Vishal, after the tweet, apologised everyone who ridiculed him and also requested not to mix politics and religion. On the other hand, Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi PartyChief, Arvind Kejriwal tried to make the possible damage control. But the whole drama has landed Dadlani into a legal soup. Accordingly, a case has been filed against Vishal Dadlani and Tehseen Poonawalla over their tweet. Reports states that the case has been registered in Delhi’s Shahdara police station by the Jain members.

Moreover, the whole episode has led Vishal Dadalni to quit politics, which he announced on Twitter yesterday.
