UP CM Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to visit ‘Kanha Upvan’ ;a shelter home for cows and stray animalsLucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to visit ‘Kanha Upvan’ – a  shelter home for cows and stray animals –  managed by Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav’s businessman son Prateek Yadav and his wife Aparna.

According to News18.com, SP patriarch Mulayam and his wife Sadhna will be there to welcome the Chief Minister who is expected to come any time soon.

Adityanath’s visit to ‘Kanha Upvan‘ comes days after Prateek and Aparna met the saint-politician at the VVIP guest house soon after his elevation to the chief minister’s post.

Their meeting with firebrand BJP leader had triggered curiosity in the political circle, as it came days after BJP trounced Akhilesh Yadav-led SP in the 2017 UP assembly elections.

Prateek, Aparna and her brother Aman Singh Bisht had paid a courtesy visit to the new CM at the VVIP Guest House where he was staying then. The trio had met the CM with a bouquet of flowers and the meeting lasted about 20 minutes.

During their meeting, Prateek and Aparna had reportedly discussed the issue of ‘Gau-Sanrakshan’ (cow protection) with the UP CM.

Incidentally, Aparna had fought on a SP ticket in the recently concluded assembly polls but lost to BJP’s Rita Bahuguna Joshi, who is a minister now in the Yogi cabinet.

Earlier too, Aparna Yadav have visited Yogi Adityanath in September 2014 in Gorakhpur after the death of Mahant Avaidyanath.

Aparna had gone to Gorakhpur as part of her social development initiatives but she changed her itinerary after knowing about the demise of Mahant Avaidyanath.
