Mumbai: After John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan, the buzz was strong that superstar Salman Khan will be seen in Yash Raj Films’ glamourous actioner ‘Dhoom’ franchise.
The rumour mills were churning out goss about Salman being a part of ‘Dhoom 4’. but now all that seems to have hit a standstill, especially after he signed ‘Race 3’. but the latest buzz right now is that not Salman but YRF favourite Shah Rukh Khan might be roped in to play the lead in part 4.
According to BollywoodLife.com, SRK is a pro in playing grey shades with conviction on-screen, and in ‘Dhoom’ franchise the protagonist is essentially a baddie, so we might see him in top form once again.
A source has been quoted as saying, “Adi wants to take Dhoom 4 to the next level and he’s asked Maneesh Sharma to write the film. He’s currently scripting it. For those in the know, Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor (director of Dhoom 3) is now busy with Thugs of Hindostan. So the film will change hands again. Maneesh will probably direct it as well.”
Nothing has been officially announced either by the makers or by the actor. ‘
